I mean come on, its Tintin, its a kids movie right? Well that was definitely my first assumption after hearing about it but when you look a little deeper the first movie is going to be directed by Steven Spielberg, and the second installment is slated to have Peter Jackson direct (right after he finishes his work on The Hobbit). So from a directorial perspective it looks very solid, but what about acting?
The two major voice rolls have been given to Thomas Sangster and Andy Serkis, very nice indeed.

The writing is being done by Stephen Moffat who did some writing for Dr. Who which is a show I wish I had more time to watch.
I think this is going to be another hit for Dreamworks and I’m really looking forward to it.
